Fishing anyone?

As discussed previously, we are going for holiday together! YAYYY. Here's the details.

Venue: Batam Kelong
Duration: 2 Days 1 night ( Fri-Sun, or Sat-Mon whichever is better)
Minimum pax: 10 ( so we need at least 10 of us)

So far we have: Mich, Shu, Biru, Wuya, Silin, Shiqi, Yawen, Wenxin ( 8 of us here)

I believe Shiqi is asking Karling, and Yawen is asking Boonee. The more the merrier!

Anyway, there's 2 packages that we can choose from. 1 for free and easy and the other one is a package tour. The free and easy tour is obviously cheaper. its 95 per pax and this includes 2 way ferry tickets, 1 night accomodation at the kelong, one dinner at kelong, one bbq, one bfast at kelong, 2 way land transfer. For the tour package, that is 125 per pax and it includes all of that I've just mentioned plus 1 lunch at local restaurant at the city, 1 day city tour, air-conditioned coach service, shopping at the city... I don't know why but tour package, we depart early in the morning but for free and easy, we only depart at noon! Does that mean that we have less time there? Hmm, I don't know but will check it out and confirm again later.

If we choose the free and easy one, it will definitely be cheaper but I think if we want to go and explore the city, we will have to seek our own arrangements and this also means, we have to get our own food. In the middle of the sea, what food can we have arh? hahaha... Otherwise do you guys also mind just being at the kelong the whole day? haha. Maybe a city tour would be fun after all.

For me, I don't mind going for the city tour, it will be good to explore the terrain! Let me know also the dates that you most likely be unavaliable, and what are the dates that you will prefer!

Also, going in June is good but then it will be during the school holidays! The kelong will be packed and because it can only maximum 40 pax, we need to book very early cos its peak season ya. Yawen has intensive db training in June, Shu will have to sort out her accounts and I would just have started my internship at that time. For July, Shiqi and I may be taking special sem part 2 so... we'll have to work out the dates again.

Hope this holiday will work out for us though, I for one desperately need a blue-sky holiday!
